East Madison Hospital
UW Health has clinic, hospital, pharmacy, and other specialty care locations across southern Wisconsin. The healthcare provider occupied space in 2015 at The American Center (now East Madison Hospital) and sought furnishings to support client intake and administrative work. Creative provided strategic furniture solutions to best control traffic flow and facilitate work in the acquired 505,000 square feet of space.
70 new Knoll workstations and 130 private offices were furnished and installed from the Knoll constellation of products. Designed and built under Lean Construction Principles, Knoll systems furniture was used in multiple patient-facing touchpoints like kiosks, greeter desks, and registration areas, as well as staff work areas in the hospital beehives. Installation was well orchestrated with a phased plan in partnership with the construction team fora complete and on-time opening.
Creative also provided support in UW Health’s application process for LEED Gold certification on this building and continues to support this property as build outs and reconfigures have ensued in the progressive and ever-changing healthcare landscape.
