Our primary market is southern and central Wisconsin, we also work throughout the nation. We self-perform most of our work in the field including carpentry, painting, and furniture installation. Position Overview

Our Account Executives create new opportunities with new prospects or within existing accounts. They uncover all the information to guide the strategy and structure the approach to win the design, the construction, and/or the furniture needed by the client. Their assignment is to manage the client relationship while facilitating and leading an efficient process for the project team. Our team of experts provide substantial support throughout the process of a project and then they support the client relationship on a long-term basis. This position offers a guaranteed salary while you learn, extensive training, an exciting commission plan with unlimited earning potential, and full benefits for someone who is driven, skilled, and knowledgeable.

 

The Account Executive:

· Networks constantly in a variety of ways

Furniture Technician - Waunakee

Position Summary:

Furniture Technician, works with others to complete furniture installation and light construction on commercial furniture projects.

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to level peds and files.
  • Hang cantilevers and overheads.
  • Install worksurfaces & casegoods.
  • Basic understanding of competitors’ lines.
  • Able to read and understand installation drawings.
  • Responsible for job preparation and demolition.
  • Ability to install Knoll electrical.
  • Responsible for site cleanup.
  • Can work independently or under direction of Lead Installer.
  • Some carpentry background is preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • Possess knowledge installing commercial office furnishings.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis, with ability to lift over 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Be able to work independently in a corporate environment.

We are looking for a responsible Furniture Project Manager to coordinate commercial furniture projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed expectations. Your ability to be resourceful, detailed, and enthusiastic will lend you success in this role.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage project execution, including but not limited to project timelines, cost forecasts, scope, vendors, and communications.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor project progress.

  • Complete project close checklists.
  • Manage all risks affecting a project.
  • Review and track invoices.
  • Participate in project planning and execution kickoff meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent work experience) in Project Management, Operations Management, Business, Communications or related field.
  • Accounting or finance experience.
  • Contract furniture experience is a plus.
  • Interior design experience is a plus.

You will be the main point of contact for clients in reviewing contracts, scheduling labor, and assuring projects are completed effectively. You will resolve site concerns with excellent client service to foster high-quality relationships. Your ability to be organized, adaptable, and enthusiastic will lend you success in this role.

  • Schedule labor, supervise contractors, and visit worksites daily.

  • Execute RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.
  • Maintain exemplary standards of risk, safety, and compliance on and offsite.
  • Communicate with clients, designers, architects, and contractors.
  • Attend new client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing multiple complicated projects while staying on schedule and in budget.
  • Knowledge of commercial or residential building and remodeling.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, vendor proposals, and project take-offs.
